Gemma Kerr

Gemma Kerr is a content creator at We The Curious since December 2022 and a podcaster for The Celestial Tales, where Gemma explores astronomy and mythology related to constellations. As a webinar moderator for Physics World since May 2021, Gemma facilitates online discussions. Previous roles include serving as a senior classroom assistant at Kumon Bradley Stoke from October 2020 to January 2023 and conducting research as an intern at the University of the West of England, focused on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on vulnerable children. Additional experience includes being a science communicator for Rising Ape Collective and a games master at Containment Ltd, where Gemma managed escape room operations. Gemma holds a Master’s degree in Science Communication from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Surrey.
