Helen Della Nave has over 20 years of work experience in science communication and public participation in research. Helen has worked at various organizations, including We The Curious, Natural History Museum, and Institute of Food Research. At We The Curious, they have held roles such as Head of Open Source Science, Open Source Science Lead, and Open Source Science Manager, where they have developed and embedded new working practices, advocated for diverse voices in research, and formed partnerships with local industry and academic institutions. Prior to their time at We The Curious, Helen was the Darwin Centre Live Manager at the Natural History Museum. Helen also served as the Citizen Science Manager at We The Curious and as a Science Communication Officer at the Institute of Food Research.

We The Curious is an educational charity on Bristol Harbourside and South West England’s leading science centre.
