Jeff Holt

Jeff Holt has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Jeff started their career at MSC Software, where they worked as a Technical Services Engineer, providing training, sales presentations, product documentation, and quality assurance. Jeff then moved on to become a Software Engineer, developing user interface functionalities for 3D mechanical assemblies. Later, they became the Manager of Applications Development, providing leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.

Jeff then joined Waterfall Networks as a Senior Software Engineer, where they researched and proposed video streaming solutions and designed video integration with RealNetworks technology. Jeff then co-founded Companion Worlds, Inc./ Progio Mobile, where they served as the CTO and Co-Founder. Jeff created the technical vision for the Progio Training Companion and led its execution.

Jeff's next role was as the VP of Engineering at Jelli Inc, where they joined at its inception and led the engineering effort. Jeff played a crucial role in developing the Jelli platform and applications for user-controlled online and terrestrial radio.

Most recently, Jeff worked at Wealthfront as the Senior Director of Engineering. Jeff has been with the company since 2013 and continues to contribute their expertise in engineering leadership.

Additionally, in 2012, Jeff took a sabbatical from professional work to enhance their skills as a home builder, completing a second-story addition to their historic home in Redwood City.

Jeff Holt completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1989 to 1995. Jeff then pursued a Master's degree in Biomechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 1996 to 1997.
