Motion And Graphic Designer at Wealthfront

Renan Machado has extensive work experience as a Motion Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer. Renan has worked for various companies, including Mellon Foundation, Wealthfront, Complex Networks, Visual Aid Society, Decoded, VCCP, Foot Locker, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Maryland Institute College of Art.

At Mellon Foundation, Renan developed a library of experimental brand treatments and visual concepts, implementing a new rebrand. Renan also designed motion graphics and assets according to the new brand guidelines.

During their time at Wealthfront, Renan created on-brand motion graphic assets for social media campaigns and designed infographics to educate users on investing principles.

At Complex Networks, they worked as a Motion Graphic Designer for a short period.

Renan served as a Graphic Designer for Visual Aid Society, where they worked on various projects from November 2017 to December 2021.

In their role at Decoded, Renan designed motion graphics for Weight Watchers and Philo TV, ensuring that animation files were organized and prepared for team members' use.

At VCCP, Renan designed motion graphics for a proposal to T-Mobile for Business. Renan delivered high-quality animations on a tight deadline for a high-budget project with the potential to reach millions of customers across NYC subways, airports, and public screens.

As a Graphic Designer at Foot Locker, Renan designed an in-house presentation for the 2018 Spring and Summer pitch proposal. Renan also designed a graphics package for Foot Locker, maintaining their brand legacy while highlighting their forward-thinking collection for the spring.

Before this, Renan gained experience as an Assistant Graphic Designer and Graphic Design Intern at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Additionally, Renan worked as a Teaching Assistant and Residential Coordinator at Maryland Institute College of Art for the Precollege program. As a Teaching Assistant, they assisted teenage students with their art projects, and as a Residential Coordinator, they were responsible for the well-being and success of 11 students living on the same floor.

Renan Machado began their education journey in 2007 at Atlantic Technical College, where they completed a Vocational Certificate in Web Design. Renan then proceeded to enroll at The Maryland Institute College of Art from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. In terms of additional certifications, Renan completed a course titled "Learning the JavaScript Language" at Lynda.com in October 2018.
