Sonya Rikhtverchik

Sonya Rikhtverchik has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Sonya currently works as the Director of Engineering at Wealthfront since February 2019. Prior to that, they were a Project and Product Management Consultant at BeKitzur Inc. in 2017. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Director of Engineering at Upthere. Before that, they worked as a VP of Product Development (contract) at Your Net Works Inc. from 2011 to 2012. In 2009, they were an Engineering Program Manager at Facebook where they led the rollout of HPHP. Sonya also has experience as the Director of Engineering, QA, and Operations at Fireclick - A Digital River Company from 2006 to 2009, and as a Principal Engineer from 2003 to 2006. Their earlier experience includes roles as a Server Side Software Engineer at Auspex Systems Inc. from 2001 to 2003 and as a Software Engineer (server side) at Outride, Inc. from 2000 to 2001. Sonya began their career at SGI as a Member of Technical Staff - Design, developing interactive tools, and at Open Market as a Software Engineer, analyzing, debugging, and optimizing performance.

Sonya Rikhtverchik has a diverse education history. Sonya started their educational journey at Boston University, where they pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from 1995 to 1999. Later, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned a Certificate in Project and Program Management in 2002. Sonya continued their education at ScrumAlliance and obtained certification as a Certified ScrumMaster in 2008. Currently, they are completing an Advanced Certificate in Project and Program Management at UCSC Extension, which they have been pursuing since an undisclosed date until 2009.
