Chris Inch

Chris Inch is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and platform development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Wealthsimple since July 2021, Chris leads platform teams to deliver innovative solutions and enhances technical and cultural methodologies in software reliability and scalability. Prior to this role, Chris held several senior positions at Shopify from May 2016 to July 2021, including Senior Development Manager and Senior Engineering Lead, focusing on various platforms such as Shopify Plus. Chris's career began in photography, with roles at Getty Images and iStockphoto, alongside entrepreneurship as an owner of See iDesigns and Gentleman Pens. Chris holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Honours Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
