Vishwa Mootooveeren has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of finance, operations, and consulting. Vishwa most recently held the position of CFO at WealthyPlanet since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance & Operations Executive at VM Consulting Inc. starting in December 2020.

Earlier in their career, Vishwa worked as a consultant at Law Assist starting in April 2012. Vishwa then served as the Director of Finance at Canadian Alliance Terminals Inc. from June 2019 to November 2020.

Vishwa gained extensive experience in finance and operations management at Agropur - Operations Canada. Vishwa held various roles including Project Manager - Finance & Operations from November 2015 to May 2019, Operations Accounting Manager from August 2014 to November 2015, and Plant Controller & Supply Chain co-lead from October 2007 to August 2014.

Alongside their professional roles, Vishwa also contributed to Ashton College as a part-time Instructor from February 2010 to January 2012. Vishwa started their career as a Senior Accountant at The Original Cakerie from 2005 to 2007, and as a Client Service Manager at Accenture from 2004 to 2005.

Vishwa's early experience includes serving as a Controller at Decathlon International from 1993 to 2004. Overall, Vishwa has a broad range of experience spanning finance, operations, consulting, and education, making him a well-rounded professional in their field.

Vishwa Mootooveeren has a diverse education history that spans across various institutions. In 2002, they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland. In 2004, they completed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program offered by Simon Fraser University/CMA(BC), focusing on Accounting and Finance. Vishwa further pursued their education at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Strategic Decision & Risk Management.

In 2017, Vishwa attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study Industry 4.0 & IIot, with a specific focus on Continuous Improvement. Vishwa also attended the MIT Sloan Executive Education program, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and its implications for business strategy.

Throughout their education journey, Vishwa also obtained various certifications. In 2009, they obtained the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2016 and 2017, Vishwa earned the Certified Quality Manager - Operational Excellence certification from the American Society for Quality.

Recent education pursuits include attending The Wharton School. In 2020, they completed the "The CFO: becoming a strategic partner program" and "Advanced Corporate Finance" courses. In 2021, Vishwa participated in "Fintech Revolution: Transformative Financial Services and Strategies" program at The Wharton School.
