Athanasios Kefalas

Athanasios Kefalas has a diverse work experience in the field of iOS development. Athanasios is currently working as a Lead iOS Engineer at WeAre8, starting from January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior iOS Engineer at the same company from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to joining WeAre8, Athanasios worked at Accenture Greece as an Application Development Senior Analyst | iOS from June 2021 to May 2022. From September 2018 to June 2021, they worked as a Back End Developer at mSensis S.A. Additionally, at mSensis S.A., they held multiple roles including Back End Developer from June 2017 to September 2017, Mobile Application Developer from April 2015 to June 2017, and Mobile Developer from October 2014 to March 2015.

Athanasios Kefalas pursued their higher education starting in 2009 at the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. Athanasios studied Computer Software Engineering and completed their studies in 2015. Afterward, they continued their education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Data and Web Science.

In addition to their formal education, Athanasios Kefalas also obtained certifications from Microsoft. In August 2021, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification, followed by the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification in April 2022.
