Dimos Homatas

Dimos Homatas has over 19 years of experience in software engineering and related fields. Dimos began their career in 2001 at Demo Fashion S.A. as a Software Engineer. In 2002, they founded FTL Software and held the role of Software Engineer, where they completed notable projects such as PAGONIS T. E. K. In 2011, they moved to BBD as a Software Engineer. In 2013, they founded Exelia Technologies and held the role of Software Engineer. In 2014, they joined GLS Fund Services as a Software Engineering Team Leader and Kyvos Studios as Lead Programmer and Founder, where they created RGBverse, a 3d constant runner precision platformer using Unity. In 2015, they joined Interworks Cloud as a Software Engineer and Chrisons Co. Ltd. as Head of Information Systems, Team Leader, Software Architect, and ScrumMaster. In 2021, they joined WeAre8 as Senior Vice President of Engineering and ScrumMaster.

Dimos Homatas has a varied educational background. Dimos obtained an HND in Software Development/Business Analysis from EPL Thessaloniki from 1992 to 1996, followed by an ASD in Multimedia Software Development from I.I.E.K. Pasteur from 1996 to 1997. Dimos then obtained certifications from Microlab in Programming and Mathematics from 1989 to 1990 and in Software Suites from 1988 to 1989. Dimos also obtained certifications from Infolab in Microsoft .NET from 2002 to 2002 and Network Management/Windows Server from 2001 to 2001. Finally, they attended Hellenic Open University, School of Computer Science from 2009 to 2013, where they studied Computer Science.
