George Newton

George Newton has been in the design industry since 2014. George began their career as a Photography Technician and Hourly Paid Lecturer for Kingston School of Art. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Creative, gaining experience in branding, publication and editorial design, art direction, and photography. In 2019, they joined Single O as a Design & Creative, where they were responsible for all visual elements across the entire business. In 2022, they began working as a Senior Designer for Frost*collective, working within their place team on various projects. George also started working as a Graphic Designer for WeAre8, a responsible social media platform.

George Newton has a varied educational background. George began their studies in 2007 at Chichester College, where they earned a National Diploma in Graphic Design in 2009. George then completed an Art and Design Foundation at Chichester College in 2010. From 2010-2013, they attended Kingston University, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Photography. In 2015-2016, they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE) at Kingston School of Art. Finally, they earned a Master of Arts in Communication Design: Graphic Design from Kingston School of Art in 2017-2018.
