Alex Moncada

Art Director at Kettle

Alex Moncada's work experience begins in 2016 when they worked as a Design Collaborator for Commonwealth Bank. In the following years, they gained various design-related roles including a Design Intern position at LogoDesignGuru and Jones Knowles Ritchie, a Peer Tutor role at Savannah College of Art and Design, and a Docent role at SCAD Museum of Art. In 2018, Alex joined Craft & Root as a Design Intern, where they gained experience in the field. They also worked briefly as a Packaging Designer for Paper and Packaging Board. Later that year, Alex began working at Urban Outfitters as a Jr. UI Designer before transitioning to a UI Designer role. In 2021, they moved on to work as a Senior Visual Designer at Huge until 2022. Currently, Alex holds the position of Art Director at Kettle.

Alex Moncada completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, Alex obtained an IB Diploma from Peterson Schools from 2010 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Alex was a semifinalist for the ADAA (Adobe Design Achievement Awards) in both 2017 and 2018, awarded by AdobeEDU.
