Ben Pirotte

Ben Pirotte has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of design and art direction. Ben is currently employed at Kettle as a Senior Art Director. Prior to this, they worked at R/GA for five years, where they held multiple positions including Senior Art Director, Senior Designer, Art Director, and Designer. At R/GA, Ben was involved in designing and art directing material for renowned brands such as Airbnb, Reddit, Google, Samsung, Disney, and MetLife.

Before joining R/GA, Ben worked as a Freelance Designer and Art Director, providing their services to various clients. Ben also served as a Marketplace Designer and Creative Director at Visual.ly and as a Designer at Modicum. In addition, Ben worked as a Multimedia Designer at Good to Great Schools Australia and as a Society for News Design Foundation Graphics Intern at The Florida Times Union. In these roles, they gained experience in a wide range of design projects, including maps, charts, data design, and cross-platform branding.

Ben started their career as an intern at Austin Walsh Photography and The Kansas City Star, where they worked on still and motion shoots and gained experience in photojournalism. Ben also served as an Art Director at the University Daily Kansan, showcasing their leadership and creative skills. Overall, Ben Pirotte's work experience demonstrates their expertise in design, art direction, and creative problem-solving.

Ben Pirotte attended Shillington Education in 2015 and obtained a degree in Graphic Design. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they attended The University of Kansas where they earned a BS in Journalism and Environmental Studies. In 2010, they briefly studied International Journalism at Marquette University, although no degree was obtained from this institution.

In addition to their education, Ben Pirotte obtained a certification in Graphic Design from Shillington School of Graphic Design in April 2015.
