Zara Okusi serves as the UK Young Ambassador to the European Youth Forum at The British Youth Council, representing 24.2 million young people in the UK and advocating for youth interests in European policymaking. Currently, Zara holds roles as a Summer Analyst at BlackRock and a COP 28 Delegate for the United Nations, conducting interviews with youth leaders on climate issues and organizing events to facilitate discussions on climate negotiations. In addition, Zara is the Head of Content at TEDxWarwick and a PPE Ambassador at the University of Warwick, where studies encompass Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from September 2022 to June 2025. Further involvement includes serving as a National Citizen Service Leader and representing the EU as a Youth Delegate to the G7, contributing to discussions on development finance and sustainable development. Educational background includes participation in the Yale Young Global Scholars program and completion of secondary education at El Altillo School with a focus on social sciences.
