Daniel Barnes

Daniel Barnes is an experienced agile coach with a strong background in strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement within technology and product development environments. Currently serving as the Lead Agile Coach at Pion, Daniel has been pivotal in shaping the Agile Enablement team and influencing the operating model and strategic direction of the product development department. Previously, Daniel held significant roles at On the Beach, supporting a large agile development department and leading initiatives that encompassed broad technological projects. With a foundational background in project and process analysis from earlier positions at The Bank of New York Mellon and the British Council, Daniel has consistently applied agile methodologies to enhance team performance and deliver innovative solutions throughout a diverse range of projects. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Business Management from The University of Manchester.
