Alejandro Barreras

Alejandro Barreras is an experienced procurement and project management professional currently serving as VP of Procurement at Planet since September 2025. Previously, Alejandro held the role of Global Procurement & Cost Manager at Intrum from August 2023 to August 2025, where leadership in global procurement strategic projects and process improvement initiatives were key responsibilities. Prior to that, Alejandro worked at Equifax from January 2013 to February 2023, culminating in the position of Head of Procurement and Real Estate Iberia, and also held roles focusing on process improvement across Europe. Alejandro's earlier experience includes project management positions at Buongiorno and GRUPO NEAT, highlighting a solid foundation in both technical and business-oriented roles. Alejandro holds an MBA from IE Business School and an engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
