Emily Farshchi

Emily Farshchi has a diverse work experience in the fields of merchandising, buying, and IT advisory. Emily is currently the Director of Merchandising at Pepper, where they started in January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Merchandising Manager and Senior Manager for Merchandise & Inventory Planning at the same company. Emily also held the position of Merchandise & Planning Manager from October 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Pepper, Emily worked at Tillys as a Buying professional from December 2018 to April 2020. Emily also gained experience at Pacific Sunwear, where they served as a Buyer for Women's Non Apparel and as Associate Merchandise Planner for Ecommerce.

Additionally, Emily has a background in IT advisory, having worked as an IT Advisory Associate at KPMG US. In this role, they evaluated technology controls and performed integrated audit engagements, contributing to lower project costs and increased efficiency.

Emily's early work experience includes roles at Ohio University, where they were a Teaching Assistant and a member of the Student Advisory Council for the Dean.

Emily Farshchi attended Ohio University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Management Information Systems. In 2011, they also studied at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, specializing in the Spanish and Catalan language as well as City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning.

In addition to their formal education, Emily Farshchi holds several certifications. Emily obtained their Usui Reiki Ryoho Master Level Certification from Usui Reiki Ryoho in January 2020. In January 2018, they also received certifications from Yoga Alliance - International, including RPYT Prenatal Yoga Certification and RY200 YTT Certified Instructor.
