Doug Schlegel

Doug Schlegel's work experience begins with their current role as the Sr. HR Director at Weatherford, where they lead a team of thirteen and is responsible for all aspects of HR for a $1.5 billion growth business with over 2500 staff in the US, Canada, and Caribbean countries. Prior to this, they worked at The Carnrite Group as a Managing Director and Senior Director of Human Capital and Organizational Change, where they focused on management consulting in the energy and industrials sectors. Before that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, leading a team of 10 and setting and delivering the HR Business strategy for a $4 billion US growth business. Doug also held various roles at Shell, including US HR Policy Manager & President of two Expatriate Companies, HR VP - Upstream International Unconventionals, HR VP Upstream Americas Onshore, HR VP / Manager Trading, and HR Integration Manager - HR Manager. At Shell, they were accountable for setting and delivering HR strategies and plans for various global businesses. Doug'scareer began at American Express, where they held multiple roles and was promoted from HR Specialist to HR Manager and Senior HR Manager. Throughout their career, Doug Schlegel has demonstrated expertise in areas such as change management, talent development, engagement, policy development, and process improvement.

Doug Schlegel received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1983. Doug went on to complete a Master's degree in Human Resources at the University of Utah from 1985 to 1986.
