Franklin Cueto has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Franklin started their career as an Operations Engineer at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. in 2000 and worked there until 2003. Franklin then joined Gabriel de Venezuela, C.A. as an Operations Manager in 2005. In the same year, they also started working at Weatherford.
At Weatherford, Cueto held various roles, including Senior Director - Manufacturing and Supply Chain - Production and Intervention Segment, Senior Director Supply Chain - Artificial Lift Systems, Vice President - Artificial Lift Systems, Vice President Business Development & Strategy - Production Segment, Transformation Lead - Western Hemisphere, Global Product Line Director - PCP and HPL, Region Business Director - Production Systems and Well Completions Technologies Latin America, Region Business Unit Manager – Production Systems Latin America, Operations Manager Mexico, Country Business Unit Manager ALS - Mexico, and Senior Applications and Sales Eng. Franklin'sresponsibilities included leading manufacturing operations, overseeing suppliers, driving global fulfillment strategies, improving profitability and revenue targets, and managing critical joint ventures in Asia.
Throughout their career, Cueto has demonstrated expertise in driving operational improvements, driving sales and business development, and achieving significant revenue growth for the companies they worked for.
Franklin Cueto holds an Engineer's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. In 2011, they also earned a Diploma in Organizational Leadership from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey. Currently, they are pursuing a Diploma in the Weatherford Leadership Development Program at Mays Business School - Texas A&M University, starting in 2019.
