Laura Galvan

Laura Galvan has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in manufacturing and project leadership roles. From June 2023 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Project Lead at Weatherford. Prior to this, from August 2021 to June 2023, they served as a Materials Manager, responsible for overseeing various activities such as planning, purchasing, and warehouse operations. From February 2019 to August 2021, Laura held the position of Planning & Warehouse Manager at Weatherford, where they managed a team and supervised the execution of sales orders and logistics. Earlier in their career, from June 2016 to February 2019, they worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor, leading a team of employees in prototype R&D manufacturing. Finally, from June 2014 to June 2016, Laura worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Weatherford, where they focused on new product qualification, process improvement, and standardization. Prior to their time at Weatherford, Laura gained experience as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Hewlett-Packard Co. from May 2013 to June 2014.

Laura Galvan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston in 2014. Laura is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston-Victoria, with an expected completion date of 2024. In addition, Laura has obtained certifications including AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the New Leader Program from CorpU, a Udemy Company, in the year 2022.
