Ruben Martinez

Ruben Martinez has extensive experience in engineering and management within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Research and Development as well as the Director of Engineering for Drilling Services at Weatherford since February 2018. Prior to this role, Ruben held the position of Director of Engineering at Reservoir Group from March 2015 to February 2018, overseeing product development for coring products. Ruben's career at Schlumberger spanned nearly two decades, where responsibilities included managing engineering for wireline coring tools and leading product development programs for innovative wireline mechanical intervention tools. Ruben holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
