Scott C. Weatherholt

Scott Weatherholt is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Weatherford since July 2020, Weatherholt has previously held significant roles at Arena Energy, LP as Senior Vice President & General Counsel, and at Midstates Petroleum Company LLC where responsibilities included Vice President - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Vice President - Land, and Executive Vice President - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Weatherholt started a legal career as Assistant General Counsel at Samson Resources from May 2005 to January 2015. An alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, Weatherholt earned a BBA and JD in law from 1996 to 2003.
