Thomas George CIPP®, CIPM® has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Thomas started their career in 2011 as a Mechanical Engineer at TUFKO INTERNATIONAL, where they gained experience in maintenance and production. Thomas then moved on to Oil Palm India Limited as a Graduate Engineer Trainee, where they assisted in production, maintenance, and project departments. In 2012, Thomas joined Kluber Lubrication as a Graduate Engineer, where they managed projects, procurement, and production processes. Thomas further enhanced their skills at TUFKO INTERNATIONAL as a Management Executive in 2013, focusing on operations and business development. Thomas then joined Al Husam General Contracting Est. as a Project Engineer/Procurement Engineer, overseeing EPC procurement, project management, and client management. In 2017, they joined Doosan Babcock as a Project Procurement Engineer, responsible for technical procurement and achieving significant cost savings. Currently, Thomas is working at Weatherford as a Procurement & Contracts Lead in the UAE, managing an annual spend of over 120 million USD and being recognized as a top-performing employee. Thomas'sexpertise includes procurement, contract management, vendor management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management.

Thomas George completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Jaipur National University between 2022 and 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering-Autonomous from 2007 to 2011. Thomas also completed their Plus two in Science from AKJM HSS from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Thomas George holds various certifications, including Ethical Procurement and Supply from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply in 2024, CIPS LEVEL 4 from CIPS in 2023, CERTIFIED INTERNATIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER from IPSCMI in 2022, Certificate International Procurement Professional from IPSCMI, USA in 2022, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2016.
