Brodie Vivio has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. They began their career as a Research Intern at Sonoma State University's Astronomy and Physics Department, where they processed data and recorded telescope images for a long-term study. Following this, they worked as a Mathematics and SAT Preparation Tutor as a self-employed individual.

In 2015, Brodie joined Carbon Lighthouse as a Tools and Software Intern, where they developed a Node.js/MongoDB web application and collaborated with other teams for user testing. They then interned at LiveRamp, an Acxiom Company, in 2016 as a Backend Software Engineer. Here, they worked on Java-based large data processing workflows and contributed to the design and development of internal applications.

From 2017 until 2022, Brodie continued working at LiveRamp as a Backend Software Engineer. They were part of two backend teams, optimizing big data workflows and developing secure, low latency, containerized applications using Java and Golang. They utilized tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and GCP.

Currently, Brodie is employed at WeaveGrid as a Senior Software Engineer, which began in 2023.

Brodie Vivio attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Physics.
