Wenwei Xie

Wenwei Xie is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Web.com since December 2011, focusing on mail and webmail platforms. Prior to this, Wenwei Xie held various roles at Network Solutions from December 2004, advancing from Software Engineer to Manager, specializing in software components for domain registration and web hosting using Java/CORBA/EJB technologies. At Xtria, from October 2000 to November 2004, Wenwei Xie provided IT consulting services to government agencies, leading a team of developers in application development. Early career experience includes a role as Engineering Scientist at West Virginia University, conducting emissions testing and researching alternative fuel technologies. Wenwei Xie holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from West Virginia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Peking University.
