Chaitanya Potti

Chaitanya Potti has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Chaitanya is currently working as the Head of Engineering at Web3Auth, where they lead a team of 8 developers and is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the Torus stack. Chaitanya has also developed full-stack blockchain applications and implemented TDD practices and CI/CD pipelines using Circle CI and Drone CI. Chaitanya has expertise in building AWS systems with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Prior to Web3Auth, Chaitanya worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Web3Auth, where they were involved in the design, development, and deployment of the Torus stack. Chaitanya also implemented TDD practices and CI/CD pipelines and built AWS systems.

Before that, they served as a Software Architect at TWO12 and as a Co-Founder at Electus Network, where they developed various web applications and smart contracts using technologies such as MongoDB, Express, React.js, Redux, Node.js, and Solidity. Chaitanya also authored important protocol standards and client applications.

Chaitanya also has experience working as a Technical Lead at Credit Suisse, where they showcased their leadership skills, and as a Senior Engineer at Honeywell, where they worked on vessel design, web analytics tools, and big data analytics. Chaitanya successfully implemented Agile and Lean methodologies and achieved significant cost savings.

In addition to their industry experience, Chaitanya has also worked as a mentor and intern at Scilab India, Python.in, contributing to national projects and developing solutions for industry problems. Chaitanya has also served as a panel member at Insight IITB and interned at Whirlpool Corporation.

Chaitanya is a co-founder of Determination Center for Alternate Learning and has previously worked as the Manager of Operations at Topworks.

Chaitanya Potti attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, Chaitanya obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt from Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. in December 2015, and completed a Big Data Analytics course from the same institution in January 2016. Chaitanya also received a certification in Introduction to Big Data from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016. In July 2018, they obtained the FRM Level 1 certification from GARP. Most recently, Chaitanya obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in November 2020.
