Erik Chalut

Erik Chalut was named General Counsel and Secretary of Weber Inc. in October 2022. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel of Weber from August 2021 to September 2022. Prior to joining Weber, Mr. Chalut served as Corporate Counsel at Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Michigan from 2014 to 2021, focusing on M&A, securities, governance, venture capital, and other corporate matters. He previously spent 15 years in private practice, including 10 years at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was named Partner in 2006. Mr. Chalut received his BA in History from Michigan State University in 1996 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1999. Mr. Chalut is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
