Brian Dennehy

Brian Dennehy began their work experience as an Articled Clerk at Deloitte from January 1998 to December 2000. Brian then worked as an Auditor at Deloitte from January 2001 to April 2001. Subsequently, they joined Deloitte again as a Senior Tax Consultant, eventually becoming an Associate Director from July 2001 to May 2006. From June 2006 to August 2007, Brian served as a Tax Partner at Deloitte. After that, they joined Webber Wentzel as a Tax Director from September 2007 to October 2012. Brian then worked at Standard Bank Group as an Executive in the Principal & Structured Finance division from October 2012 to December 2014. Lastly, they returned to Webber Wentzel as a Tax Director in January 2015, where they still work presently.

Brian Dennehy's education history began in 1989 when they attended Parktown Boys High School, where they obtained their Matric degree. Following their high school education, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 1994 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a field of study in Accounting and Finance. In 1998, they furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Accounting degree. Continuing their studies, Brian attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2001 to 2003 and received a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation, focusing on Taxation. Additionally, they pursued a Higher Diploma in Company Law at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2003 to 2005, specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Lastly, in 2006, Brian completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Capital Gains Tax at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
