Dalit Anstey

Dalit Anstey is an accomplished ESG Knowledge Lawyer at Webber Wentzel, focusing on the development and implementation of the firm's ESG strategy and knowledge framework since January 2023. Prior to this role, Dalit served as an Associate at ENSafrica from January 2018 to January 2023, advising clients on ESG and sustainability matters with a specialization in natural resources, mining, and environmental law. Dalit's experience also includes a position as a Candidate Attorney at ENSafrica's Natural Resources and Environment Department, where responsibilities included assisting clients with legal compliance in mining and environmental projects. Earlier, Dalit contributed as an Intern at the Gender Health and Justice Research Unit, conducting legal research and organizing a civil society summit, and at Tzedek, a Jewish sustainable development NGO. Dalit holds an LLM in Environmental Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, an LLB from the University of Cape Town, and a BA in Economic History and Law from the same institution.
