Safiyya Patel

Safiyya Patel started their work experience in 2006 as a Director at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, Safiyya joined Webber Wentzel as a Partner and Corporate BU Head. In this role, they focused on artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, and cross-border transactions. Safiyya also provided advice on joint ventures, company formations, and reorganizations.

Safiyya Patel has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand where they obtained a degree in BProc, which stands for Bachelor of Procuration. Following that, they continued their studies at the same university and completed an LLB degree, which stands for Bachelor of Laws, in 1996. Finally, in 2014, Safiyya Patel pursued a program in Leading Professional Services Organisations at Harvard Business School.
