Cagdas Ucar

Cagdas Ucar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cagdas began their career as a Software Engineer at Garanti Technology in 1999, where they focused on optimizing the response time of an electronic payment server and implemented a temporary credit card process. Cagdas then joined Exametric Inc in 2003 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to optimizing forecast parameters and improving data import speed through SQL queries and stored procedures.

In 2006, Cagdas Ucar joined Miva Inc as a Software Engineer, where they implemented a recurring billing solution and integrated electronic payment solutions for the company's e-commerce package. Cagdas later worked at HSBC Auto Finance as a Senior Business Information Analyst, where they created a CRM system for market segmentation and resource planning strategies.

In 2008, Cagdas Ucar took on the role of Senior Database Information Engineer & Analyst at Brickfish, where they designed and implemented a multi-dimensional OLAP data warehouse and a business analytics dashboard. Cagdas also served as the Director of Engineering at Internet Matrix, where they consolidated company servers and designed a cluster system for web, email, and DNS services.

Cagdas Ucar co-founded OrderPigeon at HubLogix in 2013, serving as the Chief Technology Officer. Cagdas integrated the service with various e-commerce sites and vendors, resulting in more than a million orders shipped and over $100 million in revenue. Cagdas then joined AbacusNext in 2016 as the VP of Automation Technologies, where they designed and created a client portal and integrated it with Netsuite.

Currently, Cagdas Ucar is serving as the Chief Technology Officer at WebDigital since 2019.

Cagdas Ucar has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University, which they obtained from 1993 to 2001. Cagdas also attended Izmir Selma Yigitalp Lisesi from 1992 to 1993, Izmir Fen Lisesi from 1990 to 1992, and Bornova Anadolu Lisesi (İzmir Koleji) from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the Codility Niobium 2019 Challenge Silver Award from Codility in May 2019, the course "Finding Hidden Messages in DNA (Bioinformatics I)" from Coursera in 2019, the course "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in 2018, and the course "Machine Learning" from Stanford University (Coursera) in 2014.
