In this position, they oversaw the ideation, writing, editing, post-production, and publishing of video content for various platforms. Amy managed a team of producers, writers, editors, and talent, completing an average of 70 original videos per week.

Amy's career began at CNN/HLN, where they worked as a Development Producer, Program & Talent Development, Acquisitions from June 2008 to November 2013. In this role, they directed a development team in creating new programming and ensuring production and corporate branding aligned. Amy also served as a liaison with internal and external production companies and handled crises and sensitive information.

Amy's journey at CNN started in 1998, where they held various roles over the course of ten years. Amy served as a Producer for CNN International, supervising complex domestic and international production shoots, shows, and documentaries. Amy managed logistics, budgets, content development, and talent for major live programming and feature shows. Amy also worked as a Video Production Coordinator and Video Journalist during their time at CNN.

Before CNN, Amy interned at CNBC Asia from April 1997 to August 1997 and Tribune Broadcasting from May 1996 to August 1996.
