Brad Burke has a diverse work experience in various industries, starting in 2003 as the Entertainment/Lifestyle Editor for the Peoria Journal Star. Brad then transitioned to Fleishman-Hillard Chicago in 2007, where they served as Vice President and worked on impactful sports, lifestyle, and influencer programs for Gatorade. In 2012, they joined Weber Shandwick as the Executive Vice President of Integrated Media Strategy, specializing in earned-first storytelling and developing fully integrated campaigns for global entities. In 2015, Brad founded Just Not Sports, a podcast and new media collective that gained recognition for their campaign against online harassment of women in sports, #MoreThanMean. The podcast received numerous awards and media coverage, making it one of the most recognized sports shows in the country.

Brad Burke attended Bradley University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
