Erik M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Erik currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Digital Health UK at Weber Shandwick, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Erik was the EVP of Global Digital Solutions at Weber Shandwick starting from January 2020.
Before joining Weber Shandwick, Erik worked at Cognizant as the Head of Insight & Strategy for Cognizant Interactive in the UK and Ireland. This included the redevelopment and relaunch of social media presence for ovarian cancer awareness. Erik held this position from January 2016 to June 2016.
Earlier in their career, Erik held several positions at Digitas Health LifeBrands. Erik served as an Account Director, Global Digital Strategist, and Director of Business Management during their tenure from September 2012 to December 2015. In these roles, they worked closely with AstraZeneca to integrate digital strategies into global brand objectives and local markets. Erik also provided operational and financial leadership and collaborated with project management teams.
Additionally, Erik has experience working at Delphic Digital as a Project Manager, where they managed client accounts and implemented search optimization and paid search campaigns. Erik worked at Delphic Digital from August 2005 to September 2007.
Before entering the professional industry, Erik worked as a Program Advocate - Information Specialist at the College of William & Mary. In this role, they were responsible for updating and maintaining the Programming Resource Center website. Erik held this position from June 2003 to May 2005.
Erik's early career also includes an internship at Strategic Outpatient Services as a Marketing Intern for a brief period in June 2004.
Erik M. holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from William & Mary. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn, in September 2022.
