Helen Matthews has extensive work experience in HR and leadership roles. Helen is currently the Chief People Officer EMEA at Weber Shandwick. Prior to that, they worked at Ogilvy UK for three years as the Chief People Officer and Head of DEI EMEA, where they played a key role in designing and implementing a best-in-class employee experience and DEI strategy. Prior to that, they held a senior HR director position at the BBC, where they led a team of HR professionals and implemented a talent strategy. Helen also served as the Director of HR at Planet24 and as the Head of HR at Deckchair.com. Throughout their career, Helen has been recognized for their expertise in employee engagement, organization design, transformational change, leadership and management development, and talent management.

Helen Matthews has a diverse education history. Helen attended Hult Ashridge in 2004-2005, where they pursued a degree in Leadership as part of the BBC Leadership Programme. Additionally, from 1997 to 1999, they studied at CIPD, earning a Post Grad Diploma in Human Resources Development. In 2014, they returned to Hult Ashridge to focus on Advanced Organisation Design. Helen also received coaching training to ICF standard from Coaching Development, although specific dates for this experience were not provided.
