EMEA Chief Executive Officer & Chief Transformation Officer at Weber Shandwick

Michael Frohlich is the CEO of Weber Shandwick and the Global Transformation Lead for EMEA. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Michael was the Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy UK and the Chairman of Brand Union at the Bell Pottinger Group. Michael has also served as a WPP Team Leader and as a member of the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) Council.

Michael has over 25 years of experience in the communications industry. Michael began their career at Ogilvy, where they held various positions including UK MD and EAME Brand Marketing Practice MD. In 2015, they were promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy Europe Middle East Africa, and in 2018 they were named Chief Executive Officer of Ogilvy Group UK.

Under Michael’s leadership, Weber Shandwick has become one of the world’s leading communications firms, with a strong focus on digital transformation. In their role as CEO, Michael has been instrumental in driving Weber Shandwick’s growth and expansion in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Michael Frohlich went to The University of Manchester and got a BAEcon (Hons) in Economics and Politics. After that, they went to Haberdashers Aske's.
