David Kristan

David Kristan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they volunteered for Deutsch-Tansanische Partnerschaft e.V. for a year. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, where they conducted scientific evaluations for a cooperative project with Mount Kenya University. Later that year, they became the Chef de Bar at Mandalay Hamburg. In 2019, they interned at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. From 2020 to 2022, David worked at Dataport AöR as a Consultant, specializing in municipal business field development and IT support for schools, as well as digital transformation. And currently, starting from July 2022, they hold the role of Business Development Manager at WebID.

David Kristan completed their Abitur degree from Gebrüder Humboldt Schule Wedel between 2004 and 2012. David then pursued a Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu, completing it from 2015 to 2016. Subsequently, they attended Leuphana Universität Lüneburg from 2013 to 2019, where they studied political science and digital media, although they did not specify the degree obtained. In addition to their formal education, David obtained certifications in International Cyber Conflicts from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2019 and in Terrorism and Counterterrorism: Comparing Theory and Practice from Coursera in March 2019.
