Richard Ishida

Richard Ishida is a distinguished expert in internationalisation at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), where they currently mentor and support efforts to enhance web accessibility for diverse languages and scripts. Since 1995, Richard has been an active contributor to the Unicode Consortium, serving in numerous capacities, including Senior Editor and co-chair of various committees, and presenting informative tutorials at multiple conferences. Their dedication to educating developers in internationalisation was recognized with a Unicode Bulldog award in 2016.
