Henry Rawas has worked in the software development industry for over 30 years. Henry began their career at Eicon Technology in 1986 as a Development Lead. In 1995, they joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they were responsible for Help in Windows and the development of the windows.microsoft.com web site. In 2010, they moved to Collabera as a Software Developer, where they worked on the Windows Multipoint Server product team and the Remote Desktop team. During this time, they improved the performance of UDP transport for Remote Desktop, added features to WMS console for teachers, and modified the installation of WMS to correct robustness issues. Henry then moved to Schakra in 2011 as a Developer, where they contributed to NodeJS by helping to build the first version of libuv. In 2015, they joined Schakra/Zen3 as a Software Developer, where they wrote software for mbed to demo robotic arm integration to Azure IoTHub, wrote javascript and C++ code for to prepare for initial announcement of opent2t, tested and fixed Docker monitoring for Microsoft OMS, and maintained and added features for Iridias. Finally, in 2017, they joined Mylio (Mylio, LLC) as a Software Developer, where they were involved in C++ development for Mylio and contributing to product development. In 2010, they also joined Webscorer, Inc. as a Web Developer, where they took over the ownership of development of webscorer.com.

Henry Rawas obtained their MMath in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 1978, following their BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University in 1976.
