David Leal has a diverse work experience in design roles. David is currently the Director of Product Design at WebstaurantStore, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Design Manager at the same company from January 2021 to December 2021. Before joining WebstaurantStore, David worked as a Senior Designer at Godfrey from April 2019 to December 2020. David also served as a Senior Graphic Designer at InnerWorkings from April 2018 to March 2019, and as a Graphic Designer at the same company from September 2015 to April 2018. In addition, David worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Leal Design starting from 2008. David has also held various internship and assistant roles in the art and design field, including at Red Dirt Studio, Martin Lawrence Galleries, Boston Center for the Arts, Copley Society of Art, and David Worthington. At IIF Data Solutions, they worked as an Independent Contractor providing support in disaster-response training exercises.
David Leal completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sculpture from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Fine Arts, from 2009 to 2012. David also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine Art from Solent University from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's degree in Communication Design and Multimedia from ETIC from 2006 to 2008. David Leal has also acquired various certifications, such as "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes" and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" from Coursera, "Figma for UX Design" from LinkedIn, and "First Certificate in English (ESOL)" from the University of Cambridge.
