Mathias Karthum

Mathias Karthum is an experienced professional in business intelligence and data management, currently serving as Avdelingsleder at Webstep since April 2013. In this role, Karthum leads a growing team focused on business insights, big data, data warehousing, data science, and machine learning. Previous positions at Webstep include Rådgiver and Senior datavarehuskonsulent, where Karthum assisted clients with IT-related challenges and contributed to significant BI projects in multiple countries. Prior experience includes a senior consultant role at Crayon, as well as a lengthy tenure at Norske Systemarkitekter, where Karthum specialized in Oracle BI. Karthum began a career in management consulting at OBOS Eiendomsforvaltning, managing a portfolio of residential companies. Karthum holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT-management and economics from BI Norwegian Business School and has foundational education from Persbråten vgs and the International School of the Americas.
