Cathleen Anne has extensive experience in the field of science education, currently serving as a science teacher at Webster Central School District since 1991, specializing in Regents and Enriched Earth Science, as well as Forensics, and coaching the Science Olympiad team. Prior to this role, Cathleen Anne taught Regents Earth Science at Bishop Kearney High School from September 1989 to June 1991. Academically, Cathleen Anne holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Nazareth University, obtained between 1993 and 1995, and a Bachelor of Science in Education, focusing on elementary and secondary science education from the State University of New York Cortland. Cathleen Anne is also an alumna of Bishop Kearney High School, graduating between 1979 and 1983.

Webster Central School District, with a student population of approximately 8,400 students grades K-12, is Monroe County's second largest school district. Located eight miles outside of Rochester, New York, Webster is bordered by scenic Lake Ontario to the north and Irondequoit Bay to the west. It covers 52 square miles and includes all of Webster, and portions of Penfield, Ontario, and Walworth.
