Abby Parsonnet, Executive Managing Director is Head of Asset Based Lending and Commercial Services. In her role, Parsonnet oversees the nationwide Asset-Based Lending and Commercial Services teams at Webster Bank, which includes Staffing Solutions and Factoring.
Prior to her current role, Abby served as Regional President for Metro New York. She joined Webster in August 2013 to lead the buildout of Webster’s middle market banking activity and community affairs in the New York metropolitan area, comprised of Westchester, Long Island, Northern New Jersey and the five boroughs of New York City.
Earlier in her career, Abby was at JP Morgan Chase as senior vice president and regional manager in a variety of roles including national head of remediation and head of the textile, apparel, and jewelry group. She also served as a team leader in middle market and a special credits officer. She has also been a restructuring advisor in the corporate finance practice of FTI Consulting, where she was a senior managing director.
Living up to the communities she serves, Abby is a board member Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City where she was the 2014 recipient of the Accountants & Bankers Bob Berenson Leadership Award, and a member of the Fashion Service Network. Abby was an officer, and founding member of K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers (now Delivering Good). She is a past recipient of the 2019 Partners in Kindness Award from Sephardic Bikur Holim, the 2022 Woman of the Year award from the Queens Center for Progress, the 2006 ORT America Accounting, Bankers and Attorneys Chapter Community Achievement Award, and was named one of the Notable Women in Banking & Finance by Crain's New York.
Abby earned her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and her MBA from Boston University. She also earned her Certificate in Financial Planning from the New York University School of Continuing Education.
