Bill Bowker has over 30 years of experience in various roles within the banking industry. Bill began their career at Fleet Bank in 1987, where they served as a Sales Manager and Branch Manager for nine years. Bill'sresponsibilities included overseeing branch operations, achieving sales and customer service goals, and developing employees.

In 1996, Bill joined Citizens Bank as VP - Director of Retail Sales in Connecticut. In this role, they managed the sales department for 43 branches, implemented effective incentive promotions, and facilitated training for new sales employees. Bill also organized quarterly and annual sales recognition events.

From 2000 to 2002, Bill worked at Webster Bank as VP - Fulfillment Manager. Bill then transitioned to the role of VP - Sales & Service, where they created and managed incentive programs for 1,500 bankers. Bill also oversaw branch-level goals and managed a reporting team for retail banking. Additionally, they played a key role in streamlining and automating call processes for retail employees.

From 2008 to 2010, Bill served as VP - Resource Manager at Webster Bank, where they developed and implemented resource strategies for staffing, recruitment, and retention across a 181-branch network. Bill also collaborated with the Training department to coordinate training delivery.

Bill then held the position of VP - Project Manager from 2010 to 2015. In this role, they managed strategic corporate projects, including charter development, business requirements documentation, risk assessment and mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Bill led project teams in implementing deliverables outlined in project charters.

Following that, Bill became VP - Business Analyst from 2015 to 2018, focusing on analyzing and documenting business needs to achieve desired results. Bill then transitioned to the role of VP – Senior Business Analyst from 2018 to 2021.

Currently, Bill is working at Webster Bank as VP Director, Scrum Master, responsible for ensuring Agile teams adhere to best practices and deliver value to stakeholders. Bill guides teams to become self-organizing, self-motivating, and self-managing with the goal of becoming high-performing.
