Branko Djapic

Branko Djapic has extensive experience in the banking industry, with roles in various leadership positions. Branko served as the Chief Investment Officer & Corporate Treasurer at Webster Bank, where they played a crucial role in the merger of equals with Sterling National Bank. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Sterling National Bank, where they contributed to the merger with Provident New York Bancorp and the subsequent acquisitions of Hudson Valley Bank and Astoria Financial. Branko also held positions at Pacific Capital Bancorp as the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where they led strategic planning processes and managed capital raising efforts. Branko started their career as a Market Analyst at Rembrandt Corporation and as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. Additionally, Branko served as an Advisory Board Member at Moody's Analytics.

Branko Djapic completed their education at the University of Washington Graduate School of Banking from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara in 2003 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the same institution in 2002.
