Jeffrey Mercado

Jeffrey Mercado, MBA, CFP®, began their career in 2001 at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where they held various positions including Senior Private Banker and Affluent Segment Leader for New York and Connecticut. Jeffrey was also a Senior Private Banker in the Wells Fargo Legal Specialty Group, where they served as the primary point of contact and strategic resource for law firms. In 2019, Jeffrey joined Webster Bank as the Head of Law Firm Banking Group and Commercial Banking Senior Managing Director. Additionally, Jeffrey served as a Trustee at El Museo del Barrio from 2014 to 2018.

Jeffrey Mercado has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Jeffrey also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Columbia Business School, which they earned from 2016 to 2018. In addition, Jeffrey has completed certified financial planning courses at the NYU School of Professional Studies in 2015. Jeffrey is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), having obtained their certification from the CFP Board in 2016. Furthermore, Jeffrey holds a Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License, which they obtained from the New York State Department of Financial Services in 2005.
