Thomas Melchior

Thomas Melchior is a seasoned professional in credit risk and underwriting, currently serving as Manager of Credit Risk Review at Webster Bank since October 2020. In this role, Thomas evaluates credit quality and potential loan loss exposure for various loan portfolios. Previously, Thomas held the position of Vice President - Director of Underwriting, managing a $300 million loan portfolio primarily focused on top QSR concepts. With experience at Pacific Premier Bank as Marketing Vice President, Thomas targeted franchise restaurant operators across the Northeast, and at First Financial Bank, Thomas supervised a group of underwriters within a $500 million portfolio. Thomas began a career in financial analysis at Bank One Arizona and gradually progressed through positions at Textron Financial and Franchise Finance Corporation of America, gaining expertise in underwriting and portfolio management. Thomas holds both an MBA and a BSBA in Real Estate/Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
