Carla Matheson

Carla Matheson is the current Director at WeCommerce. Prior to their current position, they held the title of Chief Financial Officer at Tiny from July 2017 to March 2021. Carla was responsible for the financial oversight and management of high growth, private, technology based companies. Carla collaborated with portfolio CEOs, CFOs, Founders, and Family Office leaders to establish strategy over M&A, financing, reporting, capital allocation and management at the operational company and group level.

Before Tiny, Carla was the Controller at Replay Resorts from June 2016 to August 2017. Carla was engaged in the entrepreneurially focused corporate finance group and reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Carla was accountable for all aspects of Corporate Accounting including the development and maintenance of appropriate full cycle accounting processes, treasury, internal controls, budgeting/ cash flow forecasting and tax compliance for the Replay Group of Companies. Carla was also responsible for managing and training accounting staff, review and consolidation of multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional subsidiary reporting, preparation and review of external financial statements, and related note support in compliance with ASPE standards.

Carla Matheson attended the University of Victoria for their Bachelor of Commerce and majored in General Management. Carla then completed their Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Saskatchewan. Carla is a Chartered Accountant and is certified by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
