Derrick Reinhardt has been in the culinary industry since 2015. Derrick started as a Day Chef at Joe Beef, then moved to Chef Proprietor at McKiernan in 2018, where they were responsible for monthly menu development, costing and purchasing, scheduling and staffing. In 2021, they became a Recipe Development Specialist at Goodfood Market (TSX:FOOD), developing and costing elegant recipes for the standard and artisan plan. Currently, they are the Assistant Director of Culinary Operations at WeCook.
Derrick Reinhardt obtained a degree in Culinary Management from Fanshawe College between 2000 and 2002. Derrick also holds certifications from the Ministère de l'Agriculture, Pêcheries et Alimentation in Hygiene et salubrite alimentaires and a Red Seal Chef certification from the Canadian Federal Government.
