Akash Sharma

Akash Sharma has a diverse work experience in the technology and finance industry. Akash is currently working as a VP, Sr. Technology Manager at Wedbush Securities. Previously, they worked at MarketAxess as a Customer Integration specialist for more than five years. Akash also served as the Head of Client Services at Arxis Capital Group LLC. Akash started their career at J.P. Morgan as an Associate in the Investment Bank, specializing in FIX Onboarding and High Touch/Low Touch trading technologies. Before that, they worked as a Trading Systems Analyst at Bluefin Trading LLC and as a Web Developer at Cybernautic Design.

Akash Sharma completed their Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Illinois State University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Nagpur University between 2002 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Akash Sharma also obtained a certification in Fixed Income Securities from Udemy Academy in October 2020.
