Christopher Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Christopher began their career as the Director of Communications at Dreyfus in 1978 and later moved on to become the Vice President at The Bank of New York. In 1988, they joined Ernst & Young as a Manager before transitioning to The FINS Group, where they became a Partner in 1990. Hayes then joined Cogent Inc as a Partner in 1996 and worked there until 2007. Christopher also served as the Global Head of Research & Development at SetClear from 2007 to 2012. In the same year, they joined Credit Agricole CIB as a Managing Director and held this position until 2013. Hayes then became the Managing Director, Head of Risk at CLSA Americas, LLC, from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are working as the Managing Director at Wedbush Securities since 2017.

Christopher Hayes has a diverse educational background. Christopher earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completing their studies from 1971 to 1975. Following this, they pursued Computer Science at New York University for a year, from 1981 to 1982. Christopher then continued their education at NYU Stern School of Business, studying Finance and Computer Science, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 1985 to 1988.
